Loquacious Giants safety Antrel Rolle is very frustrated. On an appearance on WQAM radio in South Florida, Rolle called out Giants head coach Tom Coughlin. Rolle believes Coughlin is too uptight.
Last year, when Rolle inked a lucrative free agent contract, he came to New York to win a title. His dreams were dashed when the Giants did not qualify for the tournament. His latest critque of Coughlin: is a repeat of what he stated after the Giants loss against the Colts.
His frustration is about:
1. Giants co-owner John Mara did not hold Tom Coughlin accountable.
2. Coughlin does not hold his coaches accountable. Thus far, none of Coughlin’s assistant coaches have been dismissed. Despite season long failures of special teams coach Tom Quinn and quarterbacks coach Mike Sullivan, these two incompetent coaches remain on the Giants payroll.
Connecting the dots- Rolle speaking out against the head coach is frustration over how the coaches are not held to the same standards as the players.
